CFP Certification Scholarship List

Now, more than ever, financial advisors (and aspiring financial advisors!) are choosing to pursue CFP certification as a path to honing their expertise and better serving their clients. However, the cost of obtaining CFP certification, between the classes, CFP exam review, and even the CFP exam fee itself, can be prohibitive for many.

Fortunately, an increasing number of scholarships are now becoming available to CFP certificant candidates to help offset the cost of tuition (for either an undergraduate degree or certificate program that meets the required educational component), conferences, CFP exam prep classes, and exam fees. CFP certification scholarships are awarded both on a needs-based and merit-based basis, with a growing number of specific scholarships reserved for individuals from underrepresented groups to help improve the inclusivity of the financial advisor community.

In an effort to make these financial support programs more accessible, we are pleased to share the following list of scholarships. Additionally, the list can also be filtered by type of scholarship, eligible candidates, or application method (essay, interview, etc.), to make finding the most relevant opportunities even easier!

Our CFP certification scholarship database is regularly updated, so don’t forget to bookmark this page and check back frequently!
